2015-2018: Profale – Cooperation between physics faculty and physics education (BMBF)
In this project, which is funded by the BMBF, an earlier linkage of Content Knowledge and pedagogical Content Knowledge is to be fostered.
These types of knowledge are rather segmented, acquired at two different faculties and therefore must be independently combined by the students. To expedite this process, thereby facilitating the study, the connecting structures shall be strengthened in the first semester and meaningful connections of knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge shall be linked.
A first structure is established currently in the second semester of physics education study in the form of a didactic accompanying seminar. Here, Content Knowledge of phenomena acquired in the professional scientific lecture are historically conceptualized and put in the school context.
