Welcome to the E-Science Office

The eScience Office supports researchers at the faculty in all matters relating to digital and empirical research. Since November 2025, the services of the eScience Office have been bundled in the Hub for Educational Research (HER) and are offered centrally there.

Our Services

• Data collection in laboratory and field settings
  Support in the planning, implementation, and organization of empirical data collection.
• Media technology & media production
  Consulting and support in the production, recording, and post-production of media in the context of research projects.
• Equipment lending service
  Provision of research and media technology as well as specialized hardware for use in research.
• Software use in research
  Provision of and advice on software and digital tools in research.
• Advice on data collection, data protection, and data management
  Support with legal, organizational, and technical issues throughout the entire research cycle.
