How do we, as a faculty, support researchers in their knowledge exchange activities, and what structures and conditions have we put in place to facilitate this? Below, we outline some of the key frameworks we have established.

Quality assurance internally and externally

Advice and support are provided by the TEWi Knowledge Exchange Office, the Dean’s office, and the Faculty’s Ethics Committee.
The Faculty’s Knowledge Exchange Advisory Board contributes to strategic development.
The steering committee, in cooperation with the State Institute for Teacher Training and School Development, coordinates joint knowledge exchange matters at the strategic level.
The Center for Teacher Education—a joint institution of the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training and the University of Hamburg—coordinates teacher education programs.
Subject-specific working groups (Sozietäten) address cross-phase issues in teacher education.
