Viktor Werner from our research project MaBaKo-Deaf has developed digital learning materials on numbers in German Sign Language (DGS) together with Anna Cebulla from the Competence Center Self-Determined Living - For People with Sensory Disabilities (KSL-MSi) and the project "Math inclusive with PIKAS" (TU Dortmund University).
Specifically, the learning materials contains the numbers from 1 - 100 that are set-up multimodally including number words, number digits, number points, illustrations (up to 20) and number gestures, taking into account the mouthing in a didactic and child-motivating way. With the help of the QR code on the respective posters, videos on individual number signs can be retrieved. The materials can be found here (in German).
We would like to thank Anna Cebulla and the team from TU Dortmund University for the excellent cooperation!
