Several preservice teachers write their bachelor or master thesis in physics education. Then, students often need access to specific research software which allows for the analysis of empirical data. Our faculty provides students access to its computer pool, nevertheless many students are facing substantial problems with getting access, when they for instance take care of their children or must travel long distances between home and University. The Physics Education group has been working on a solution and developed a software lending system for students with limited access to the faculty’s computer pool. A first step was taken with the support of the Claussen-Simon-Stiftung. |
