Internationalisation at the Faculty
Globally connected in research and teaching
Welcome to the “Internationalisation at the Faculty of Education” page of the University of Hamburg. We view internationalisation as an integral part of research, teaching, studying and working at the Faculty. We aim to shape internationalisation in a way that is sustainable, accessible to all and promotes mutual exchange. In line with the University of Hamburg’s mission statement, "Globally Active, Globally Minded: Internationalization as a Catalyst for University Impact", the Internationalisation Unit works closely with the Faculty’s researchers to shape internationalisation in a reflective and socially effective manner.
We aim to develop an international culture of research and learning that promotes diversity, participation and an active culture of welcome within our Faculty. To this end, we rely on a wide range of mobility opportunities, innovative (digital) teaching and learning concepts, and long-term, trusting cooperation with our partner universities worldwide. Together, we are committed to globally networked educational science and internationally oriented teacher training at the University of Hamburg.
Internationalisation Strategy
We are currently working on revising our internationalisation strategy. In doing so, we are guided by the University of Hamburg’s (UHH) current internationalisation strategy. We will make the updated internationalisation strategy available here shortly.
