This elective course involves investigating an academically relevant and self-chosen problem statement in an institution, company, or organization of the student’s choice. The student is expected to plan and conduct fieldwork and provide a substantial written project based on evaluated relevant theoretical literature and methods. Classroom instruction and supervision. Written take-home assignment: Individual or group-based assignment on a topic of the student's choice. (At Campus Copenhagen we will help the student in finding a suitable place to make the 1-2 week of data-collection /fieldwork). Link zum Kurs
Für Post-graduates/ MA-level Studierende(Cycle 7):

This course explores recent changes and future directions in the development of higher education. Indicative tchanging international visions of the role of universities since 2000, the translation of those visions into policies and national university reforms, university governance, management and leadership, auditing and accountability, research training, the social impact of universities, freedom and democracy, educational for sustainable development and the role of universities, through their education and research, and as global actors, in driving a sustainable future. The course will use pedagogies concerned with creating an international learning environment and peer-to-peer education. Importantly, following UNESCO’s definition of sustainable education, it will aim to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills to act as change agents.
Seminar, Exam: Take-home assignment. - 20 ECTS credits: "Project Placement”
Based on a 3 months long internship, this course provides the opportunity to establish a direct link between academic analytical competences and practical experience. The purpose of the project placement is
a) to provide students with the opportunity to apply and develop their knowledge, competences and skills in the field of education science in a relevant practical context. The focal point is practical understanding and analytical consideration of the need for and application of academic knowledge under given political, structural, organisational, cultural and other practical conditions;
b) to provide students with the opportunity to prepare a thesis by acquiring knowledge of issues within the field of education science and collecting empirical data for the thesis. Consequently, students are expected to work on delimiting the thesis topic and collecting data as preparation, during the project placement.
Form of Instruction: Supervision individually/group. Exam: Take-home assignment on a topic of the student's choice.
