What is BEB-CoP?
BEB-CoP was a research project that compared social and academic participation among secondary school children in Germany and Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used group discussions and interviews with school staff to examine how children’s experiences differed by socioeconomic background and between the two countries’ school systems. The findings informed recommendations for measures supporting equitable education and digitalization, with additional implications for teacher training.
