Looking back on the Hamburg International Summer School: „Literacies for Social Participation“

The Hamburg International Summer School 2026, Literacies for Social Participation, was a great success! From 20–31 July, students, researchers, and teachers came together for a diverse programme of workshops, a doctoral symposium and various cultural activities. With input from numerous LiDS members, colleagues from the humanities and international guests, 30 participants from around the world engaged in inspiring academic exchange discussions. 

Reflections and impressions gathered by three of our international guests during their stay in Hamburg have been captured in a blog post.
