The Faculty Research Centre LiDS cordially invites you to the LiDS Lunch Lecture "Epistemic insurgencies and hybrid futures: Indigenous universities as third spaces in Latin America" with Prof. Carolina Guzmán-Valenzuela.
In her lecture, Prof. Carolina Guzmán-Valenzuela, Agathe Lasch Visiting Scholar at HUL, will explore Indigenous universities as third spaces within the complex context of state frameworks, modernity, and coloniality. Drawing on the concept of “cracks” (Walsh, 2022), she will show how these spaces open up possibilities for intercultural dialogue, alternative knowledge systems, and decolonial efforts.
