The Faculty Research Centre LiDS cordially invites you to the LiDS - Motion Lunch Lecture ‘Translanguaging, plurilingualism, and linguistic social justice’ with Prof. Jeff MacSwan from the University of Maryland.

In his lecture, Prof Jeff MacSwan will examine the theoretical perspectives of plurilingualism and translanguaging and their consequences for linguistic social justice. In favour of moving away from translanguaging, he will examine the approach of plurilingualism.

The joint LiDS - Motion Lunch Lecture will take place on 23 June 2025 from 12 - 2 pm in room 105 of Von-Melle-Park 8.
