Hamburg International Summer School Literacies for Social Participation on 20 - 31 July 2026 at the University of Hamburg.

Our research centre LiDS offers a summer school on the topic of literacies for social participation. Participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops given by renowned international experts and to connect with them. Furthermore, they will be able to contribute their own expertise, deepen their knowledge of the latest research findings, and develop their methodological and academic skills. Doctoral Symposium Literacies for Social Participation (27 - 28 July 2026)

The doctoral symposium is a constituent event within the Hamburg International Summer School, Literacies for Social Participation, which runs from 20-31 July 2026.  The symposium offers PhD students the opportunity to present their research to an international audience of peers and receive in-depth feedback from renowned experts in the field. We invite you to also apply to present at the doctoral symposium, however this is not a requirement to participate in the summer school.
