Call for WERA Visiting Researcher Award

Research centre LiDS (Literacy in Diversity Settings), together with WERA (World Education Research Association) and IEA are pleased to announce a new WERA Visiting Researcher Award call for 2024.

The visiting researcher will be co-hosted by the Universität Hamburg and IEA Hamburg. The program lasts for six weeks in 2024. Visiting researchers are encouraged to initiate a collaboration with experts to develop their own research project while benefiting from the individual support at the University of Hamburg.

Awardees will receive a grant of €3,500 to cover their travel, stay, meals, public transport, and other subsistence costs during their six-week stay in Hamburg.

Research proposals should relate to the Universität Hamburg's and IEA’s research activities and study data. Early-stage researchers and experienced researchers engaged in educational research from all nationalities are welcome to apply. All applicants must hold a minimum of a master’s or equivalent degree.
