Projects of Specialization II: Literacy, Multilingualism, and Multimodality

Specialization 2 “Literacy, Multilingualism and Multimodality” focuses on the question of how multilingual and multimodal potential can develop positively. The specialization covers both individual language development in the context of multilingualism and the different modalities of language, such as sign language, and takes into account their development over different phases of life. In addition, the design of educational institutions and processes is being researched to strengthen the advantages of multilingualism and mitigate potential disadvantages on educational outcomes so that social integration and participation can be promoted.

Find out more about specialization 2 “Language education, multilingualism and multimodality”.
