As part of Hamburg Sustainability Week 2026, the University of Hamburg’s Transfer Agency invites you to an inspiring networking event on June 30 (11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) at HADLEY’s Bar.
The results of the currently funded transfer projects will be presented. Under the motto “Triple Transformation: digital, sustainable, open!”, these initiatives pursue the goal of a so-called twin transformation: using digital technologies and data to advance sustainability goals, while at the same time designing technologies, data infrastructures, and social systems in a sustainable way. The projects rely on co-creation and co-innovation with partners from civil society, business, and public administration. Their scope ranges from humanities and social sciences to natural sciences, always with a central focus on collaboration between academia and societal stakeholders in addressing current societal challenges.
You can look forward to inspiring insights, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities with project leaders, practice partners, and representatives from academia, industry, and society. A shared lunch will provide space for productive and informal exchange, helping to enhance the impact of transfer projects and generate sustainable momentum for the region. Join us when science and practice come together—and help shape the society of tomorrow.
