Julia Levin Project Lead

Julia Levin is a lecturer in the Department of General, Intercultural, and International Comparative Education and Educational Psychology at the University of Hamburg. Her research and teaching focus on risks and opportunities of digitalization for education, schools, and society.

Her dissertation on cyberhate among Ukrainian youth affected by war informs the design of the project. She examines how young people affected by war experience and cope with digital aggression.

Since 2019, she manages a series of projects in context of the DAAD program “East-West Dialogue.” In this capacity, she coordinates research and educational collaborations on digital aggression, online hate, and conflict resolution with partners in Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, and Germany.

 

Prof. (ret.) Alexander Redlich Senior Advisor

Alexander Redlich is a retired professor of educational psychology at the University of Hamburg. His research focuses on communication, cooperation, and conflict within human groups, as well as on the values and norms that shape social understanding. He initiated the collaboration underlying this project and led its predecessor for sixteen years as part of the DAAD’s “East-West Dialogue” program. In this role, he established the network of universities and civil society partners in Moldova and Ukraine upon which the current project is built. Today, he contributes to the project as a senior advisor, providing strategic guidance and supporting international cooperation within the partnership.

 

Dr. Nadine Cruz Neri Project Evaluation

Dr. Nadine Cruz Neri is a researcher at the Department of Education at the University of Hamburg. Her work focuses on the role of language in subject learning and on diversity in school contexts, including gender stereotypes and multilingualism. In this project, she leads the evaluation, designing how we measure what the project achieves and where it can be strengthened.
