In Kyrgyzstan we work together with the Taalim-Forum Public Foundation. Founded in 2006, the foundation supports educational initiatives throughout Kyrgyzstan and promotes innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning. The foundation works closely with the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education on national priorities, including the digital transformation of the education system, and partners with international donors and research networks across Central Asia.

 Activity highlights

In 2024 and 2025, the team conducted a nationwide survey on digital risks among young people, collecting data from more than 2,000 respondents aged 12–25 across all regions of Kyrgyzstan. Building on these findings, a policy brief presented at the round table at the Ministry of Education in March 2026. The evidence also informed the development and implementation of the ReAction training programme for teachers and students of pedagogical institutes, continued by school-based initiatives including a Week Against Hate and peer-to-peer learning on prevention of online aggression.
