Teaching & Lectures
Our seminars in the bachelor's and master's degree programmes are aimed at students of general education and teacher training. This group is increasingly confronted with questions of optimal development and socialisation in a digitally shaped society during their training. In introductory seminars, we work with students to develop the basic theories and concepts of teaching and learning with digital technologies, media education and growing up in a mediatised society. In advanced seminars, we explore theoretical and practical questions of media education. In research workshops, we use empirical research methods to investigate the conditions and consequences of mediatised educational processes and the conditions for the successful use of digital technologies in teaching and learning settings. Here, students engage in practical work with qualitative and quantitative methods and conduct research on topics of their own choosing.
